All teenagers need to know this

Teenagers must be taught about the 2 types of fear.

There are two types of fear, one arising from a physical threat, the other from an emotional threat. The problem is for 65,000 years the predictive mind, which is the decision making mind in the subconscious, will predict that an emotional threat will lead to a physical threat, creating bodily stress and strength going to the muscles instead of the head for calm thinking. Emotional fear should be awareness, at worst a warning.

And that all negative emotions serve a purpose:

  • They support your boundary and is not taken personally

They work in pairs, that is negative emotions support positive relationship principles which drive the heart brain.

  1. Fear supports trust, through awareness, then courage
  2. Anger supports respect, as a defense using assertiveness
  3. Criticalness supports acceptance, as a review, using evaluation.
  4. Confusion, anxiousness and Guilt supports commitment, sitting with peace awaiting guidance, using self control.
